We are absolutely PSYCHED to get to the market this one half of a two-shirt collaboration series with ORIGINAL SIN CIDER. The two-shirt series aims to express the meeting point between two artforms: traditional film photography using classic film cameras and the traditional craft cidermaking of ORIGINAL SIN CIDER.
The street credibility of ORIGINAL SIN CIDER in the cider world is undisputed. They date back to humble beginnings in 1996 when founder Gidon Coll sought to reconnect America to its apple heritage by creating traditional cider with the complexity to satisfy today’s discriminating palates. Not only do we love this film picture that we shot of their FUJI UNFILTERED CIDER Single Varietal, but the cider itself is also an instant soft spot for us, as we are based in Japan. We eat Fuji apples a few times a week!
The picture itself was shot through a Mamiya RB67 Pro S classic film camera (years of production: 1974-1990) on Fujifilm 160NS color negative film (medium format, 6x7cm negative).
As for the shirt, we use AMERICAN APPAREL fabrics for top quality, proper feel, and slim fit, made from a 50/50 mix of cotton and polyester. They are more expensive, but they seriously last forever. We want to make sure that the shirts we wear (and sell) are our favs because they FIT RIGHT, FEEL RIGHT, and LAST LONG.
